Why a middleman can be a good thing when buying poly tanks

When you’re buying a molasses storage tank, it’s easy to think the job is just a matter of choosing the right size and getting it delivered.

But when that tank is part of a larger molasses handling system, there are a few other things worth getting right.

That’s where we can assist.

We work with poly tank manufacturers in different regions to help customers get the right tank for their set-up, without having to work out all the details themselves.

A little help in the middle can make buying a poly tank a lot easier. Ballard Industrial assists with tank selection, pricing, fit-out and labelling.

Ballard Industrial offers supply, fit-out and competitive pricing on Enmach cone-bottom silos for feedlot and intensive feed applications.

Helping find the right manufacturer

We point customers towards reputable poly tank manufacturers in their area, based on the relationships we’ve built with suppliers across different regions.

That means customers don’t have to start from scratch trying to work out who to contact or where to get a suitable tank.

Taking care of the paperwork

A molasses tank needs the right fittings for the rest of the system to work properly.

When we supply a tank, we take care of the fit-out paperwork so the poly manufacturer has the specifications needed for the full system. Getting those details right from the start can save a lot of mucking around and additional cost down the track.

Supplying labels at no cost

We also supply the tank labels – MOLASSES or M8U – depending on what the customer chooses.

We include our quality vinyl outdoor stickers at no cost when tanks are purchased through us. These labels make it easy to identify what’s inside the tank, and they keep the whole set-up looking neat and professional.

Competitive pricing

Because we’ve built relationships with poly tank manufacturers in different regions, we can also help customers access competitive pricing.

We’re not trying to be another step in the process just for the sake of it. The idea is to make buying the tank a bit easier, make sure it’s right for the system, and take care of the details that can otherwise be easy to overlook.

So while the tank itself is supplied by the poly manufacturer, there’s plenty we do behind the scenes to help make the process run more smoothly.
